ALEX - Alternative Experts, LLC is now hiring a TRIRIGA CAD Integrator Specialist for an immediate opening in Arlington, VA. The selected candidate will support the United States Department of Defense (DOD) by maintaining Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) databases such as TRIRIGA to support completion of critical design, construction, and alteration projects and expertly manage DOD spaces. Specific duties include but are not limited to: - Maintain, manage, update, and provide CAD and drafting services in support of Master Repository Drawings (MRD) for managed space. Specifically, creating a master record drawing, performing drafting and redline updates to master record drawing files. - 2D drafting to create new details or modify existing drawing data which show dimensions and specifications of building infrastructure for all engineering disciplines e.g., Architectural, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Security, Furniture / Equipment, Life Safety, Automated Controls. - Create new details, modify, migrate, convert, and standardize new or existing MRD. Contractor shall file and index drawings to a common CAFM repository and format. - Gathers supporting data and prepares detailed drawings of building alterations and additions including plans, details, sections, and elevations from rough sketches and outlines with differing levels of detail, format, models, or oral instructions and shall develop solutions and details using the CAD System to complete drafting assignments and MRDR updates. - Polyline CAD drawings and Publish to CAFM system in adherence to WHS space management standards. - Draw, create, and update polylined spaces, area overlays, and query boundaries on master record drawing files. - Attach, publish, and synchronize polylined drawings to specific location data within the CAFM system.
Attach gross area, gross measured area, and individual space data to the CAFM system. - Create, update, and develop location and organization hierarchies utilizing CAD Integrator and publish them within the CAFM environment. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Minimum of 3 years' experience using IBM TRIRIGA Space Management Software. - Experience using MicroStation and AutoCAD software. - Understanding of engineering drawings and a master record drawing repository. - Experience creating, modifying, converting drawing records. - Experience handling customer requests and providing exceptional customer service. - Experience associating drawing objects to spatial information within a CAFM environment. - Experience drawing, creating, and updating polylined spaces, area overlays, and query boundaries on master record drawing CAD files. - Experience attaching, publishing, and synchronize polylined drawings to specific location data within a CAFM system. - Experience attaching gross area, gross measured area, and individual space data to the CAFM system. - Experience creating, updating, and developing location and organization hierarchies within the CAD file and publish them within the CAFM environment. - Experience attaching organizations to specific locations and create, edit, and manage space allocations within the CAD file and publish them within the CAFM environment. - Experience creating, updating, and attaching assets to specific locations within the CAD file and publish the developed data within the CAFM environment. - Experience developing drawing labels, label styles, and label themes that are visibly published within the CAFM environment. Physical Requirements: - Ability to walk long distances outdoors to enter and exit facility as well as conduct surveys. Education and Certifications: - Associate's Degree or higher in Computer Drafting and Design Technology or Applied Science with an emphasis in drafting, geography or related physical or geospatial science such as Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Technology, Cartography, Information Technology, Computer Science, Urban Studies/ Planning or Construction related field.
