Job description

Firebird AST is seeking an onsite WMD Analyst (JIPOE)Counter-Proliferation with an active Top Secret counterintelligence polygraph clearance to support the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) in Washington, D.C. The WMD analyst will be responsible for conducting all source analysis on nuclear, chemical, and biological warfare efforts. The contract is pending; anticipated award is August 2024. RESPONSIBILITIES Perform all-source analytic production on WMD, e.g. CBRNE analysis and participates in collection activities supporting strategic and tactical intelligence priorities and responses to military contingency operations. Provide analysis and collection support to, WMD threats, the CBRNE and counterterrorism nexus, missiles and delivery systems, advanced weapons, and related military activities and operations. Define problems, supervise studies and lead surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions on nuclear weapons. Provide expert analytic leadership and expertise in identifying, planning, developing, and executing analytic production methodologies, tradecraft, and techniques. Provide strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to Defense planners and policymakers. REQUIRED Active TS/SCI with Counterintelligence Polygraph. Minimum 12 years of experience conducting analysis with at least a portion of the experience within the last 5 years focused on a WMD lane (counterproliferation, chemical, biological, nuclear, etc.). Masters degree in an intelligence or WMD related field (Strategic Intelligence, Organic Chemistry, Bioengineering, etc.) Understanding of JP 3-40, JP 3-25, ICD 203, and ICD 206. You must also possess the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing. EDUCATION Masters Degree, but will consider years of experience. CLEARANCE Active/current DoD Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly.
