Job description
Phoenix Pro Connect is working with a global client to identify an Enterprise Integration Architect (EIA). In this pivotal role, you will tackle complex integration challenges to streamline data synchronization processes and enhance system interconnectivity across operations. You will lead the development and implementation of API-driven integrations, improving partner onboarding and reducing operational costs through reusable integration frameworks. Your expertise will be instrumental in mitigating risks associated with system interdependencies, ensuring a resilient architecture for integration and API management.
Essential Functions
Design and implement integration strategies across multiple systems to ensure seamless connectivity and functionality
Develop and maintain architectural frameworks for integration, leveraging industry best practices
Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to define and refine technical requirements for system integrations
Lead the technical design, development, and maintenance of integrations with Salesforce CRM, Dynamics 365 F&O, and other mission-critical systems
Provide expert guidance on API development, data transformation, and middleware processes
Mentor and provide architectural direction to development teams throughout the software development life cycle
Define enterprise architecture (EA) standards, governance frameworks, and system integration policies
Advise project teams on integration technology, data architecture, and system best practices
Work with project teams to integrate project requirements with the enterprise architecture
Manage internal resources and oversee augmented or externally sourced team members
Oversee the development and support of batch and backend processes related to the application portfolio
Assist with incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution
Collaborate with technical, data, and security architects to prepare integration architecture recommendations and implementation plans
Define integration specifications in collaboration with Enterprise Architects and product teams, providing expert guidance on technology choices
Design end-to-end integration architectures covering process, application, data, and technology while ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and policies
Lead the design and implementation of new integrations within the IT landscape, ensuring alignment with the enterprise architecture
Keep the integration team informed of emerging technologies and trends, ensuring technical integrity and consistency throughout the integration lifecycle
Collaborate with vendors, managing integration technologies and resolving technical issues or escalations
Advocate integration-specific architecture plans and strategies to IT architects and product teams
Skills and Experience
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in an integration architecture role
Experience defining and maintaining architecture standards and policies
Strong knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in application and integration architecture
Proven ability to lead large-scale integration projects, including design and implementation of complex systems
Extensive knowledge of integration frameworks (SOA, APIs, microservices) and middleware technologies
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive technology initiatives and influence stakeholders
Ability to collaborate effectively with IT leaders and stakeholders to achieve common goals
Preferred experience with Salesforce CRM, Dynamics 365 F&O, AWS, and iPaaS platforms such as Mulesoft
