Position Overview:

We are seeking a Construction Draw Analyst to join our Asset Management Team. Reporting to the Director of Asset Management, this detail-oriented professional will oversee the review, analysis, and approval of renovation projects, ensuring compliance with loan documentation throughout the construction draw process. The role requires effective communication with borrowers, investors, and stakeholders, coordinating the draw request process from initial status to approval and fund disbursement. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is proactive in managing timelines, costs, and project progress.

This is a full-time employment opportunity working in our Boca Raton Headquarters Office.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Required:

Minimum of 2 years of work experience in real estate, construction (residential preferred), or a related field, with direct professional experience in residential infill/new construction.

General understanding of the residential construction process, construction contracts, and scopes of work, as well as familiarity with construction and mortgage terminology.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to interact effectively with clients through emails and phone calls.

Ability to review project plans and specifications, as well as analyze budgets and timelines for feasibility.

Demonstrated record of handling administrative duties, including documentation review, record keeping, and file management.

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Google Suite (Google Sheets, Google Docs).

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

High adaptability and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment with rapid changes.

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while providing excellent customer service.

Preferred:

Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree

Experience in funds control, real estate/mortgage, residential construction, or other related industries.

Experience using database platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.

Strong track record as a self-starter with intellectual curiosity

Responsibilities:

Evaluate and determine appropriate draw disbursements for holdback construction loans by reviewing construction documentation and inspection photos, ensuring compliance with loan documents, credit policies, and state and federal laws.

Serve as the main point of contact for borrowers, guiding them through the draw process from start to finish, and maintaining communication with contractors, third-party inspectors, account managers, and brokers.

Verify and approve draw requests within assigned authority, ensuring internal stakeholders are involved when necessary, and coordinate with the Capital Partners & Servicers for advances/wire transfers.

Analyze submitted scope of work documents, conduct due diligence using inspection data and photos, and assess the feasibility of the project's budget, timeline, and operational capacity.

Collaborate with the Valuation Department to address concerns, and provide continuous feedback to Underwriting and Risk teams to enhance project screening and risk modeling.

Process draw disbursements in a timely manner, ensuring alignment with internal policies and procedures while resolving any loan violations, payment delinquencies, or wire transfer issues.

Ensure all collected data and documents are accurate, complete, and meet established standards, notifying management of deviations from standard procedures.

Operate proficiently in a high-tech environment, utilizing a proprietary CRM/LOS system to manage and process draw requests efficiently.

Act as an ambassador for the company through regular client communication, embodying patience, empathy, and strong customer service skills in every interaction.
