Job Summary:


Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant with a focus on litigation to join their team in Boca Raton. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of legal procedures and terminology, and will be adept at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and closings.

  • Conduct legal research and gather pertinent information.

  • Draft and proofread correspondence, legal documents, and pleadings.

  • Organize and maintain files, documents, and exhibits.

  • Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and depositions.

  • File documents with the court and ensure proper service of process.

  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court officials as needed.


Qualifications:



  • Associate's degree or higher in paralegal studies or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably in litigation.

  • Proficiency with legal research tools and case management software.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal court filing procedures.
