Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Tax Preparer who has worked in a public accounting practice, with at least five years of experience. You will be responsible for preparing individual and business tax returns, providing accounting, payroll, and bookkeeping services, and maintaining close communication with clients.

Minimum Qualifications (Preferred):

Minimum of 5 years' experience in tax preparation, preferably in a public accounting firm.

EA (Enrolled Agent) certification is helpful but not required.

Strong experience working directly with clients, with the ability to clearly explain accounting and tax matters.

Solid knowledge of sales and payroll tax laws, payroll practices, and relevant regulations.

Excellent communication skills-professional, courteous, and able to listen actively.

Detail-oriented with the ability to make analytical, rules-based decisions.

Highly organized and proactive thinker, capable of meeting deadlines inherent in the tax and accounting profession.
