Job Summary:
As the Vice President of Operations, you will lead, direct, and oversee the daily operations of MSPB's medical practice locations, ensuring the highest level of quality, compliance, and efficiency. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role requires strong leadership in strategic planning, operational effectiveness, and collaboration with other departments to drive organizational success and patient care excellence. The ideal candidate:
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Multiple employees
- Provide overall leadership in the day-to-day operations across the healthcare organization's medical facilities, ensuring seamless coordination, adherence to compliance, and optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop, implement, and monitor initiatives aimed at improving healthcare delivery quality, including outcome measurement and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership to align operational objectives with long-term strategic goals, participating actively in executive-level strategic planning.
- Identify, create, implement, and evaluate policies and procedures aligned with state, federal, and healthcare regulatory standards.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accrediting bodies, maintaining a proactive stance on improving operational practices to align with evolving standards.
- Foster open communication with medical and administrative staff to resolve operational challenges, ensuring a professional, supportive work environment that promotes high morale.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts, optimizing cost containment initiatives without compromising care quality or stifling innovation.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on trends, challenges, and operational activities, helping to shape organizational policies.
- Collaborate with various departments such as Human Resources, Information Technology, and Clinical Services to address and resolve any operational issues or bottlenecks.
- Lead responses to potential violations of rules, regulations, and internal policies, recommending and executing investigative procedures when needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare industry trends and best practices by actively participating in professional development opportunities.
- Ensure the smooth integration of new technologies and systems into day-to-day operations, optimizing the group's ability to serve patients effectively and efficiently.
- Oversee clinic compliance with all governing agencies to ensure a safe and compliant healthcare environment.
- Other duties as assigned by the CEO.
- Proven record of leading a team with successful outcomes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, SharePoint, etc.)
- Able to organize and lead meetings, in person, Teams, WebEx, and other virtual meeting environments.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
- Enjoys working in both individual and team settings.
- Able to execute projects in a fluid and fast paced environment.

- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, preferably in a multi-specialty physician practice environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in healthcare data management and clinical applications (e.g., Athena).
- Value based care experience preferred
- Experience working directly with Primary Care Physicians required; Subspecialty preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with strong data analysis and reporting skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, and standards at state and federal levels.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to lead interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to effectively interpret and analyze healthcare standards, technical procedures, and government regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to write and implement operational policies, quality assurance protocols, and strategic initiatives.
- Experience with employee development, coaching, and creating a positive, results-oriented work culture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments.
- Familiarity with patient flow management, clinic operational processes, and effective resource utilization.
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills when handling sensitive issues, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Excellent team player with a commitment to fostering a collaborative, respectful work environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and commitment to organizational goals and patient care standards.
Physical Demands:
- Travel locally in Florida 30%-40% per month, comfortably transition between different work positions as needed.
- Capable of handling objects up to 30 pounds when necessary. Will occasionally need to move medical equipment using pushing or pulling motions.
- May involve tasks such as bending, stooping, kneeling, or reaching as required.
- Proficient use of computer keyboards is essential, and phone-related tasks are part of the job requirement.
