Qualifications:

Education/Training

• Graduate from an approved school of Cytotechnology. Bachelor's degree in science or Cytotechnology • Current license as Cytotechnologist in the State of Florida - renewed biennial in August. Certified Cytotechnologist (ASCP) by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists - renewed annually.

• Passed research, ethics, and compliance training (CITI), is preferred.

Experience

• Five (5) years of experience in an academic endoscopy unit with assessment of more than 2000 EUS-FNA samples.

• Experience with ROSE assessment of cholangioscopy-guided biopsies.

• Basic knowledge of statistics and statistical analysis.

• Teaching experience in processing samples and assessing for ROSE in educational lab settings using teaching models.

• Experience with telepathology technologies.

• Experience with use of basic science Nikon software for tissue quantification in research, is preferred.
