Job description
AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for an experienced nocturnist critical care APP (Nurse practitioner or PA) to join our growing critical care team!
We are seeking an APP, with a team player mentality, and a dedication to continuing our tradition of excellence in both clinical practice and professionalism, while maintaining AdventHealth s mission, vision, and values.
Our Critical Care team is ultimately comprised of (10) physicians and (12) advanced practice providers.
Our team collectively provides advanced care to critically ill patients in the 32-bed closed Med/Surg ICU & 14-bed CVICU at AdventHealth Daytona Beach; the 18-bed closed Med/Surg ICU of our AdventHealth Palm Coast; and the 10-bed closed Med/Surg ICU of our new state-of-the-art hospital, AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway.
The position requires a 7 on-7 off schedule. Set schedule of (7pm-7am)
This provider will work collaboratively at night with an attending physician to cover the Intensive Care Units at AdventHealth Daytona Beach.
Requirements of the position include:
- Board Certification: Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- DEA License required (or ability to obtain)
- Active FL medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure)
- Ability to perform procedures
- Excellent communication skills

AdventHealth Palm Coast is an established CMS 4 Star rated, 99-bed facility located on the southern end of Palm Coast with 7 Operating Suites and 2 catheterization labs, endoscopy. Specialties include cancer, orthopedic, surgical, cardiac, and gastrointestinal.
AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway is a new, 100 bed hospital, open as of August of 2023. This four-story facility, located on the north end of Flagler County, includes an emergency department with full-service imaging; five operating suites; endoscopy services; an outpatient laboratory; heart catheterization labs; 20 critical care patient rooms and 80 general medical or surgical care rooms.
