Their pipeline includes self storage, strip malls/ shopping centers, chain restaurants, etc. They are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency in all work. They are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join their growing team.

Description

  • Assist the Project Manager in all phases of the construction process, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and services.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager and other team members.
  • Help manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and meeting minutes.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project schedules and budgets.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor work progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Communicate with clients and address any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Support the Project Manager in problem-solving and decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in the closeout process, ensuring all project deliverables are completed and client expectations are met.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably in commercial construction.
  • Familiarity with self-storage construction projects is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
  • A proactive and team-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • OSHA certification is a plus.
