Job description
Our client, a leading name in the travel host agency sector, seeks an experienced Industry Partnerships Manager. This pivotal role will act as the main contact between the agency and its industry partners, focusing on cultivating and maintaining partnerships, driving revenue, and enhancing strategic relationships across the travel industry.
Core Responsibilities:
Actively negotiate contract terms to secure advantageous partnerships.
Drive sales growth and resolve elevated customer issues by collaborating with internal teams.
Oversee and assess partner performance metrics and sales data.
Develop and manage relationships with key travel industry partners such as cruise lines, tour operators, and marketing organizations.
Plan and implement annual marketing and advertising initiatives with suppliers.
Maintain a strong industry presence through attendance at key events.
Requirements
Candidate Requirements:
Background in the travel industry with a proven record of successful partnerships.
Exceptional negotiation skills and a strong ability to foster relationships.
Familiarity with supplier data reporting, sales analysis, and performance metrics.
Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Outstanding communication and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to work autonomously while supporting team objectives.
Availability for travel to industry events and meetings with partners.
Additional Details:
This is a full-time role based on-site, reporting to the Senior Vice President of Industry Relations.
Flexibility for occasional evening or weekend work as needed.
Office-based with periodic travel; no direct reporting responsibilities.
