Accounting Manager - Well Established company in the Hospitality Industry

The Accounting Manager responsibilities:

• Supervises A/R, A/P, personnel.
• Responsible for reconciliations with vendors (i.e., Hotels, Transport vendors, Travel Agents, etc.)
• Responsible for overseeing accounting procedures, internal controls (implementing, monitoring, enhancing), analyzing financial data, identifying areas for improvement.
• Randomly audits workflow to assure that all accounting transactions are appropriate.
• Supervises or prepares monthly journal entries.
• Prepares financial statements.
• Supervises or prepares general ledger reconciliations.
• May train staff on internal control procedures; assist Controller as needed.
• Reviews monthly closing process
• Works on special projects, if requested; assists with yearly audit preparation.

Qualifications of the Accounting Manager:

• 5-10 years of corporate accounting experience
• Supervisory experience highly preferred
• Bilingual - English and Spanish
• Hospitality Industry experience is a PLUS but not required.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business
