Description

  • Assist the Superintendent in overseeing daily on-site operations, ensuring projects meet quality standards, safety regulations, and schedule timelines.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Monitor project progress, prepare daily reports, and communicate updates to senior management.
  • Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve any issues.
  • Collaborate with the project team to resolve any challenges or delays that may arise during construction.
  • Support the Superintendent in maintaining strong relationships with clients, architects, and engineers.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an assistant superintendent role, with a strong background in public work projects. They should possess excellent leadership and communication skills, a deep understanding of construction processes, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. A proactive problem-solver, the candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality on-site. A degree in construction management or a related field is preferred, along with relevant certifications in safety and project management.
