We currently have an opportunity for a well-rounded and seasoned Culinary Administrative Assistant to join our Pier Sixty-Six Resort opening team!

The Culinary Administrative Assistant works as the liaison between all departments and Director of Culinary to ensure all tasks and deadlines are accomplished serving as support to the Culinary team Works to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing financial performance in all areas of responsibility.

Reporting to the Director of Culinary, you will manage administrative tasks and provide support for the Culinary Division by establishing plans of character, integrity, and quality which result in the long-range continued growth and profitability of the division and Hotel.

Responsibilities:
Provide administrative assistance to the Culinary Director and support to the Culinary leadership team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.

Handle Director of Culinary agenda.

Serve as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries related to Culinary operations. Communicate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and other departments to facilitate smooth operations.

Maintain accurate records, including inventory, purchasing orders, and invoices. Organize and file documents in both physical and electronic formats.

Provide exceptional service to guests by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring their satisfaction with Culinary offerings. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.

Update all F&B & Culinary related information including but not limited to hours of operations, contact information, promotions & activations.

Set up, update & maintain F&B software including but not limited to point of sale, recipe and inventory management.

Control inventory for office supplies, requisitions same as needed to support operations

Completing special projects as assigned by the Director of Culinary.

Handles payroll updates, punches and all paperwork related to the Culinary team ensuring all deadlines are met

Reconciles daily, weekly and monthly financial figures and reports to ensure proper tracking of Food cost, Labor cost and Controllable Expenses

Handle all inquiries, cultural activities and program for our international programs

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred).

Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a hospitality or food service setting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of food and beverage operations, terminology, and industry trends is a plus.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the role's demands.
