We currently have an opportunity for a well-rounded and seasoned In Room Dining Supervisor to join our Pier Sixty-Six Resort opening team! We are seeking friendly and outgoing individuals with food and beverage experience to join our team as In Room Dining Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Reporting to the In Room Dining General Manager, as the In Room Dining Supervisor, you will be a key member of our Food and Beverage team, responsible for overseeing the delivery of in-room dining services to our esteemed guests as well as oversee all minibar operations. You will lead a team of dedicated staff members to ensure seamless execution of orders, exceptional service, and unforgettable dining experiences.

Responsibilities:
Supervise and mentor a team of in-room dining servers and mini bar attendants, ensuring they deliver impeccable service and adhere to resort standards.

Coordinate all aspects of in-room dining operations, including order taking, food preparation, and delivery to guest rooms, to ensure efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Oversee mini bar operations, including inventory management, restocking, and quality control, to ensure a well-stocked and appealing selection of items for guests.

Conduct regular inventory audits of mini bar items and monitor consumption patterns to optimize inventory levels and minimize waste.

Provide hands-on support to team members during peak service periods, leading by example and demonstrating a commitment to excellence in service.

Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate service expectations, review guest preferences and special requests, and provide updates on menu offerings and promotions.

Monitor performance metrics, such as order accuracy, delivery times, and guest feedback, to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency in in-room dining offerings.- communicating specials, etc- edit here

Oversee guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a courteous and efficient manner, striving to exceed guest expectations and resolve issues to their satisfaction.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of all in-room dining areas, including service stations, tray setups, mini bars, and guest corridors, in accordance with resort standards.

Adhere to all resort policies and procedures, including safety protocols and food handling guidelines, to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.

Manage guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests with professionalism and efficiency.

Adhere to departmental policies and procedures.

Effectively communicate with peers, management, line, and front-of-the-house employees.

Adhere to proper grooming, dress and uniform standards as set forth by Resort policy.

Be courteous to all guests and coworkers.

Maintain behavior consistent with sexual harassment/hostile work environment policy dictated in the Employee Handbook

Familar w room offerings / front office communication

Qualifications:
Must have previous experience as a lead server or in a position of a supervisor.

Must be able to speak, comprehend, read, and write English.

Must have effective communication skills.

Ability to implement and uphold service standards.

Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments.

Ability to interact with all associates and guests of the resort.

Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations- rephrase to make less scary.

Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.

Must be flexible and available to work, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to work under variable temperature conditions.

Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous.

Ability to think clearly, quickly, maintain concentration and make concise decisions in pressure situations.

Must be able to work outdoors and in extreme weather.

Ability to remain stationary at assigned post when specified.

Ability to endure abundant physical movements throughout the work areas.

Experience, Education, & Licensure

High School Diploma or GED recommended.

Some College experience or Degree recommended.

Previous Host experience in a professional setting is preferred.

Eperience as lead server /captain or similar role
