Job description

The Superintendent will be responsible creating a safety culture on site and working closely with their Project Manager to manage the project schedule, cost and subcontractors to deliver projects on-time and under budget.

Our client is a Top EnR firm that has a strong background building and renovating variety of structures (commercial and multifamily) ranging in size from $5M to $100M.

Description

  • Direct day-to-day on-site supervision of field labor force
  • Manage other superintendents on project
  • Develop a master schedule in conjunction with team
  • Maintain good relationships with internal and external clients
  • Develop and maintain site logistics plan
  • Conduct quality inspections
  • Coordinate site testing and inspection efforts
  • Monitor costs, including labor time and material
  • Manage schedules, including preparation of detailed short-term schedules and ensuring all activities take place on or ahead of scheduled dates
  • Prepare 3 week look ahead schedule
  • Prepare and submit Superintendent's Daily Reports
  • Attend and participate in project meetings, including subcontractor meetings

Profile

  • 10 + years of Commercial Construction Experience
  • Must have structural and interiors experience
  • Ground up Commercial and Multifamily experience
  • Strong Employment Tenure
  • OSHA 30
  • Strong ability to read drawings and specifications
  • Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products and Procore
  • Strong decision making/problem solving skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
