Lee Health seeks a Program Manager Health Equity. This position serves as an inclusive, and impact-focused team member who enjoys working with diverse teams to provide engaging, effective programming for a variety of stakeholders. This role designs, implements and monitors outreach, training, and professional development programs to support health equity initiatives and aspects of inclusivity and belonging throughout the system. The Program Manager is responsible for coordinating the timelines and deliverables for a variety of offerings.
POSITION PURPOSE:
Responsible for the overall planning, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of health equity, inclusion, and belonging projects designed to advance Lee Healths strategic plan, mission, vision, and values. As a member of the Equity and Inclusion team, the Program Manager works collaboratively to develop, manage, and monitor plans, and resources. Responsible for achieving deliverables within budget and established timelines, as well as successful completion of project outcomes, targeted goals, and objectives. Develops communication strategies and executes against established plans across the enterprise. Develops effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders, management, executive leadership, and several multi-functional and work teams by providing them direction, assistance, and coordination.
Requirements
Education: Masters degree in public health, healthcare administration or other healthcare-related field.
Experience: An operational track record in delivering health equity- and inclusion-related projects, with a minimum of 4+ years of experience in a corporate or hospital environment.

Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Lee Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions. We are looking for an experienced equity and inclusion practitioner with strong project management skills, who can drive forward equity and inclusion projects, implement strategy, and provide subject matter expertise. Experience using data to influence leaders, make decisions, and drive strategy.
Strong project management skills and history in executing equity and inclusion programs that drive results.
An action-oriented attitude and approach.
Passion for equity and inclusion and is embedded in the equity and inclusion ecosystem and staying up to date with best practices.
Experience with stakeholder management and comfortable working with senior executives. Effective communication and critical thinking skills.
The ability to readily and courteously provide equity and inclusion subject matter expertise to inform decision making.
Ability to lead projects, by using versatile engagement skills. Identify commonalities and nuances between markets, functions, and demands.
