Our client, a rapidly growing public accounting firm, has an immediate need for a tax manager. The tax manager will report directly to the managing partner and be primarily responsible for overseeing a team and reviewing their work.

Duties include:

• Overseeing tax planning, compliance, and preparation of various tax returns (1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, 1041).


• Staying up to date with tax laws and regulations, ensuring accurate and timely filings for individual and corporate clients.


• Providing tax-related guidance to clients.


• Conducting tax research.


• Assisting with other tax-related projects.


• Other duties as assigned.

Tax manager Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in finance or accounting required.


• CPA required.


• 7+ years of progressive tax experience; including tax planning, compliance, and preparation.


• Knowledge of tax regulations.


• Previous management experience preferred.


• Ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal correspondence.
