Position: Tax Senior
Work Model: Hybrid
Location: Fort Myers, Florida

Overview:

The Tax Senior will be responsible for assisting with tax compliance, planning, and research for individual and corporate clients. This position will also provide support to the tax team by conducting tax audits and reviews, as well as preparing and reviewing tax returns. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with tax planning and research for individual and corporate clients
• Prepare and review tax returns for accuracy and completeness
• Conduct tax audits and reviews to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
• Collaborate with clients and team members to gather necessary tax information
• Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
• Communicate with clients and tax authorities on tax-related matters

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a CPA Firm
• Previous experience in a senior or supervisory role preferred
