Job description

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Attorney with a strong background in information technology (IT) contracts to join our clients legal team. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, providing a path to a permanent position for the right candidate. You will be working closely with internal teams and external partners to manage and negotiate IT-related agreements that are critical to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of IT-related contracts, including software licensing agreements, SaaS agreements, service agreements, and vendor contracts

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and risk management standards

  • Provide strategic legal advice on IT procurement, software development, and data security matters

  • Collaborate with the procurement, IT, and compliance teams to address contractual and regulatory issues

  • Assist in the continuous development of contract management processes and templates

  • Identify and mitigate legal risks related to technology and intellectual property

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active Bar membership in good standing

  • 7+ years of experience in drafting and negotiating IT contracts, preferably in a corporate or in-house legal setting

  • Strong understanding of legal principles related to technology transactions, intellectual property, and data privacy

  • Exceptional negotiation skills and ability to manage complex transactions

  • Attention to detail, with excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

  • Strong business acumen with a proactive, solution-oriented approach

Pay Rate: $80-$120/hour



Pay Details: $80.00 to $120.00 per hour
