Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Finance, Specialty Practices, this position will be responsible for supporting and partnering with the Practice Chief Executive Officer, business development and support services.
The successful candidate is responsible for all financial aspects of the medical group practice including, but not limited to, the following:
Working closely with the leadership team to formulate the department's medium to long-term financial and strategic plans.
Leading the budgeting and forecasting cycles, and report on the performance of divisions, providers and lines of business
Administering the physician compensation program, including generation of compensation statements
Managing the monthly operating and financial reporting process, and actively participate in reviews with management and physician partners
Assisting with the accounting close and revenue cycle management processes
Supporting and improving reporting platforms and dashboards
Providing ad hoc reporting, pro formas and project support
Other duties as assigned
Travel required (25-40%)
Qualifications:
Qualifications
4-7 years of healthcare finance experience
Experience with medical specialty practices
Experience in developing and managing physician compensation models
Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills.
Advanced level of expertise using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerBI, PowerPoint), Tableau, and Essbase. Axiom experience is highly desired.
Experience in a high growth, rapidly changing environment
Education:
An undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or healthcare administration is required
A master's degree in healthcare administration or business administration highly desired
