Job description
Duties You will carry out supply program planning, management, and evaluation by performing program planning and budgeting and determining funding priorities for supply program operations. You will develop, refine, interpret, and issue policies and procedures for a major facility that interfaces with other supply management policies. You will utilize several automated systems and must be functional in Microsoft Office suites including: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Visio, Project, and Publisher. You will use and must be functional in DoD Automated Programs of Record including: Global Combat Service Support-Marine Corps (GCSS-MC), CRANE, and Defense Property Accounting Systems (DPAS). You will use and must be functional in DoD Automated Programs of Record including: Product Data Reporting and Evaluation Program (PDREP) and Stock Control System (SCS). You will use and must be functional in DoD Automated Programs of Record including: Total Force Structure Management System (TFSMS) and Total Lifecycle Management Operational Support Tool (TLCM-OST). You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases. You must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license. This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required. You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift. Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing system analysis of complex programs associated with supply systems; developing guidance for new supply systems and system modifications; developing and interpreting policies and procedures for supply management; performing program planning and budgeting for supply program operations. Education Applicants may also qualify based on education OR a combination of education and experience, in lieu of the one year specialized experience listed above, through ONE of the following: Possession of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or Completion of 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or Possession of a LL.M., if related or Possess a combination of specialized experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience must equal 100 percent.
