Job Type Full-time Description What You'll Do: As the Training Systems Expert - Naval Flight Officer (NFO), you will provide support in the development and delivery of P-8A training services. This position will be based in our Jacksonville, FL office and is not eligible for telework. The Training Systems Expert - NFO will: Analyze and identify potential training requirements that are not being addressed by the P-8A program and offer recommendations and solutions to solve potential gaps
Research technical and procedural information related to MPRA-related missions, testing, and training
Coordinate Navy direct support for courseware and scenario reviews and training device integration, acceptance, and operator instruction
Instruct MPRA classroom lectures, training device, and simulator sessions for P-8A aircrew
Assist MPRWS with Fleet Introduction Training of new capabilities or updates
Research and analyze intelligence sources for courseware development and fleet integration
Participate in developing enabling objectives (teaching points), learning objectives, performance objectives, and module/lesson strategies
Develop SCORM-compliant Interactive Multi-Media Instruction (IMI) and Computer Based Training (CBT) to include Interactive Courseware (ICW) level 1 and level 2, PowerPoint presentations, and training events/scenarios, for all levels of MPRA students
Develop P-8A training materials to include Scenario Design Documents, Lesson Design Strategies, Master Curriculum Schedules, storyboards, scenario briefs, scenario timelines, Instructor Guides, and Student Guides
Coordinate and organize technical and procedural information for implementation into MPRA courseware
Review and ensure quality, technical correctness, and instructional design of draft and final training products
Provide classroom, aircraft, and simulator training as needed
Interact with system developers and engineering teams to develop performance and acceptance test procedures for P-8A training devices
Conduct informal functional and system-level testing of P-8A training devices
Support the P-8A test events in NAS Patuxent River, Maryland, and Orlando, FL., the Fleet Introduction Team (FIT) in Jacksonville, Florida, Whidbey Island, Washington, and at additional bases for Fleet training as needed

Requirements Education and Experience: The Training ME - NFO will have the following education, skills, and experience: A Bachelor's degree and 6 years of related experience in maritime patrol aircraft. An additional 6 years of related technical experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Experience as a P-8A Tactical Coordinator (TACCO) and Mission Commander is required
Instructor experience is required, Weapons Tactics Instructor qualification desired
Fleet Replacement Squadron (FRS), Maritime Patrol Reconnaissance Weapons School or WTU experience is required
A minimum of 1500 hours in Maritime Patrol aircraft is required
DoD Acquisition and Text experience are desired
Understanding of Instructional Systems Design (ISD) processes and techniques is desired
Ability to listen and demonstrate understanding, speak with clarity and precision, communicate with diverse audiences, write clearly and concisely, and convert technical writings into understandable material
Proficient with Adobe Systems, Cisco WebEx, and Microsoft Office 365 Suite to include: Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Security Clearance Requirements: This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance to start; must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.Salary Range: The estimated salary range for this position will be $110,000 - $135,000 annually, based on an individual's level of experience and skill set.
