Job Description

The role of the IT Project Manager Practitioner is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to schedule and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The IT Project Manager is responsible for defining the projects objectives and overseeing quality control throughout its life cycle. This individual provides formalized, continuing work direction and leadership to assigned team(s) to ensure timely and effective project execution. Also, he/she could participate in employee development, coaching and ongoing performance management. The project manager plans and directs the installation of Information Technology projects which typically involve and impact multiple business areas. Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline; still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills; Builds knowledge of the organization, processes and customers; Solves a range of straightforward problems; analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures; Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.

Key Responsibilities:

Agile Leadership: Lead multiple scrum teams in Agile practices, ensuring adherence to Scrum methodologies and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Facilitation: Plan and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives) and ensure effective collaboration and communication among the team.

Coaching and Mentorship: Mentor, coach, and guide team members, product owners, and stakeholders in Agile best practices and principles.

Impediment Management: Identify, manage, and eliminate project impediments to ensure smooth and efficient progress.

Performance Tracking: Utilize Agile metrics and data to track team performance, generate insights, and provide recommendations for improvement.

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and other business units to ensure alignment, transparency, and efficient delivery of projects.

Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Scrum process and contribute to the organization's Agile maturity.

Risk Management: Identify and manage risks associated with projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining high standards of quality and security.

Documentation: Ensure proper documentation and adherence to the company's project management standards.

Collaboration: Work closely with other Scrum Masters, Agile Coaches, and leaders across the organization to promote best practices and consistency in Agile delivery.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience as a Scrum Master, with at least 1 years in a senior role. Proven track record of managing multiple agile teams and delivering complex IT projects in a regulated environment.

Certification: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) required. Additional certifications such as SAFe Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Skills:

Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and projects concurrently.

Proficiency in Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, VersionOne).

Experience in the nuclear energy sector or other highly regulated environments is a plus.

Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think strategically and act tactically.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
