Job description

Brightwild is seeking a full-time Facilities Manager to become part of its team. This individual will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing all programs and operations within the Facilities Department at a designated hotel property. Key responsibilities include establishing and maintaining preventive maintenance practices for building systems, reducing guest disruptions caused by facility failures, and applying predictive maintenance strategies to decrease operational breakdowns.

The role involves conducting regular safety inspections, liaising with contractors, organizing and scheduling maintenance tasks, keeping accurate records, and supervising facilities personnel. Our ideal candidate possesses extensive knowledge of facilities management processes, demonstrates strong multitasking and organizational skills, and prioritizes the guest experience. This position will be salaried at the managerial level.

What You'll Do

The Primary job of the Facilities Manager will be to field requests from our team and schedule out maintenance technicians and vendors. including

Reactive and preventative maintenance of units and common areas on the property

Owner projects

Landscaping

Pool Cleanings

Works with department heads and personnel to identify operational and programming problems, as well as improvement opportunities.

Review work orders daily to ensure proper billing of material and labor.

Communicate with accounting department to verify spending and billing of Facilities Department

Monitors and assesses operating results; recommends any necessary and prudent modifications; and facilitates process improvements that result in the elimination of duplicate resources. Helping technicians meet KPI's set forth for the Facilities Team

Communicate with Guest Experience Team on readiness of units

Job will primarily be an office position with some need for maintenance and unit inspections.

This position can be a hybrid position with both work from home and office options

Requirements

Experience in basic property maintenance

Reliable transportation

Smart device for communicating

Computer skills, this job's primary tools are computer apps

High level organizational skills

Basic accounting and budgeting skills

Ability to manage a team

Able lift over 20 lbs regularly

Ability to help troubleshoot maintenance issues is a plus.

Must be able to self manage your time

High level of customer service when interacting with guests
