Job Summary and Qualifications

Position Summary: The Lead Monitor Technician (MT) Observes telemetry monitors to support the delivery of care to all patients requiring telemetry monitoring. The Lead MT complies with all hospital policies/procedures. In addition, the Lead MT assists with ongoing training and/or precepting of new and current employees as directed by the supervisor. The Lead MT is responsible for ensuring new processes, equipment and other changes are communicated and/or taught to other Monitor Techs.

What qualifications you will need:

High School Diploma/GED required

6 months prior hospital clinical or patient care experience

BLS Certification required

Knowledge of medical terminology
