The Deficiency Analyst is responsible for reviewing each patient's record for incomplete or missing items, identifying the responsible practitioner for each item missing and linking the deficiency to the appropriate physician for completion.

Qualifications:
Education

High School Diploma/GED

Licensure/Certification/Registration

RHIT or RHIA certification through AHIMA

Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required

Two (2) years hospital experience

Detail oriented, computer skills, analytical. Requisite knowledge and skills may be attained through past work experience; previous exposure to use of electronic medical records preferred
