Job Title: Test Engineering Technician A Job Code: 14304 Job Location: Malabar, FL Job Description: L3Harris is searching for talented Engineering Test Technicians to join the L3Harris team testing fiber F-18 avionics, both modules and chassis. The candidate will be responsible for executing Top Level and CCA functional, thermal/vibration ESS tests and final acceptance tests on hardware. This position is a first shift 4/10 (Monday to Thursday) support. Essential Functions: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings or schematics to perform work duties
Work under direct supervision using a prescribed set of processes and procedures
Work directly with engineers optimizing test processes and procedures Lean, continuous improvement mindset
Qualifications: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills: Ability to read and understand spreadsheets Possess a positive attitude and the ability to work in a team environment Strong attention to detail
Good computer skills (Microsoft Windows and Office) Professional attitude and excellent verbal/written communication skills
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Ability to work occasional weekend, off-shift, and overtime work.
