Responsibilities Are you ready to make an impact? We are looking for you to join our team as a cleared Software Engineer in Melbourne, Florida! In this role, you will provide your expertise and direction for the development and/or modification of computer-based scientific, technical, and business software systems. This position is based out of Melbourne, FL and will require the applicant to be within a commutable distance to provide on-site support. This position will be responsible for: Uses expertise to design develop, code, test, and debug software
May work in one or several areas, such as equipment or software design, engineering evaluation or test, configuration management procedures, statistical analysis and modeling
Works with users to define existing or new system scope and objectives
Provides analytical support and technical advice during the conceptualization, development, and implementation phases
Plans and schedules new applications systems projects with user, systems software, and computer center operations personnel, including the identification of objectives, time frames, costs, and manpower requirements
Performs tasks necessary to ensure the identification and documentation of hazards within software systems using various analysis tools and techniques
Reviews and evaluates systems and software for adherence to government or commercial directives, standards, guidelines, and criteria concerning software safety and systems safety
Confirms design mitigations are captured in the design and its documentation and verifies implementation
May perform as a project lead with the responsibility for the instruction, assigning, direction, and monitoring of the performance of assigned systems developers / analyst working on a specific projectQualifications REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Active TS/SCI security clearance.
5 years' experience with BS/BA degree, 3 years' experience with MS/MA degree; 7 years' experience with AA/AS degree; in lieu of degree, 9 years of related experience is allowable. Must have Security+ Certification
AWS Experience
GitLab, Git
Familiarity with Kubernetes, Containerization (Docker), Virtualization, DevOps/CI/CD
Linux, Windows (basic system administration)
General programming knowledge of C, C++, or Java
Experience working in SCIF's
DESIRED EXPERIENCE Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence)

AWS Developer Certification GoLang Knowledge of PKI concepts and implementation Knowledge of Certificate Authorities concepts and implementation Knowledge of Fortiy scan process and procedure
Ability to work in fast paced Agile Environment
Target Salary Range $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
