Job description
Job Title: Podiatrist- DPM
Innovent Global has partnered with a very well-established, multi-state Podiatry Practice in the Southeast.
We are looking for full-time Podiatrists to live and work in FL, GA, & SC.
Will consider Physicians open to relocating and can assist with obtaining state licensure (4-6 wk process).
Will also consider a DPM coming right out of Residency.
Some travel involved & expenses paid. M-F, no call, no nights, no weekends, & no surgery.
Each Podiatrist will visit a couple LTC/Nursing home facilities every day and typically see around 30-35 patients a day.
Great support team to assist with scheduling and patient care prep: (1) FT Medical Assistant and (1) Scheduler.
Practice covers malpractice insurance, medical supplies, travel allowance, mileage reimbursement, & any hotel expenses (if needed), etc.

Job Specifics:
LTC Facility size: 80-150 Beds
Territory: 15-20 Facilities
Facility visits: 2 per day
Patient volume: 32/day
Role: Mobile/Hybrid, usually done with patients by 1-2pm
Schedule: M-F, no call, no weekends, no nights, no surgery
Support staff: CMA & Scheduler
Compensation: Salary & RVU Bonus structure based on productivity
Travel: Mileage reimbursement & hotels (if needed)
Earning Potential: Over $300K plus all expenses paid
Billing/Insurance: Medicare & Private Insurance
Must Have:
Graduation from an Accredited Medical School and completed Accredited Residency Program
Board Certified or Board Qualified Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM)
Active Medicare number
Certificate/License: Medical license to practice in the state (can assist to obtain if out of state)
Job Responsibilities:
Travel throughout the designated SC territory to service patients and residents in contracted facilities in the long term care market.
Perform an appropriate medical history and examination of the patient
Assess patient's Foot & Ankle condition and develop a treatment plan
Diagnose and treat disorders, diseases and injuries of the foot and lower leg Treatment of complex diabetic foot infections in accordance with evidence based protocols
General podiatry treating forefoot and some rear foot pathology such as hallux valgus, hammer toes, ankle instability, soft tissue or boney pathology
Order and prescribe treatment by physical medicine and therapy
Document care and treatment provided in a legible format
Communicate with facility Administration regarding patient conditions or concerns Participate in outreach programs including conferences, fairs and other program related events.
Travel and Physical Demands:
Some travel is required in this position. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to drive.
Must have the ability to maintain active customer communication; access, input and retrieve information for the computer system, enter alpha-numeric data into a computerized system often while listening on the telephone.
May be subject to repetitive motion such as typing, data entry and vision to monitor. May be subject to sitting for long periods of time, bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping and lifting up to thirty (30) pounds.
