Overview

Lincoln North Miami has finally opened their brand-new dealership! We're looking for an Automotive Billing/Title Clerk to join our team in North Miami.

As part of the dealership accounting team, this individual must be able to time manage, communicate well both verbally and via email, work efficiently be proficient and demonstrate excellent computer skills. The ideal candidate should have some previous dealership experience and or be capable of learning our DMS CDK system and processes.



Responsibilities

  • Process and reconcile all vehicle billing, including vehicle sales, aftermarket products, and finance reserves
  • Monitor and gather remittance for Finance products sold.
  • Post deals to the General Ledger, issue payoff checks to lienholders and equity checks to customers
  • Verify and maintain the accuracy of vehicle inventory, titles, and registration documents
  • Review accounting schedules on a weekly basis. Report any discrepancies to Dealer Accounting Manager.
  • Provide weekly aging reports with related notes- assist on monthly asset meetings
  • Title work processing- retail, wholesale, dealer trades using DLR DMV in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist in posting of manufacturer invoices/credit memos daily
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Provide assistance to Sales department when needed.
  • Must have good communication skills with employees.
  • Other special projects as requested.


Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate's Degree (two year college or technical school) Preferred, Field of Study: Accounting or relevant field.

Experience:

  • Relevant experience as in Automotive Accounting for three to five years may be substituted for Associate's degree requirements.
  • Experience with dealership accounting functions is a plus!

Computer Skills:

  • Proficient in ADP/CDK Drive XL DMS preferred.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work in team environments as well as independently.
  • Ability to multitask and communicate effectively as well as being highly organized and flexible.
  • Professional personal appearance and outstanding work ethic.
