Job description

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting in the coordination, planning, and execution of a variety of activities and events which may include in-house, supplier, local, division, region and Company-wide.
Primary Responsibilities
Work with leadership and management teams to understand the scope of the event and the planning
needs to promote, market, and enhance supplier brands as well as to represent the Company favorably
Assist in the logistical preparation for events including but not limited to: food and beverage, catering, venue selection, theme de cor, audio-visual, promotional materials, lodging, transportation, entertainment, set-up, and clean-up
Develop and maintain relationships with event owners, trade partners, contractors, facilities, hotels, and food & beverage personnel, exhibitors, associations, suppliers, partners, and internal/external customers
Work closely with a variety of Company employees from entry level to executive management as related to products for all events
Assist in processing samples and donations for all events
Ensure that suppliers are properly represented as applicable
Assist as needed with special events in which the company is involved
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
