Responsibilities Do you want to be part of a team that supports U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM)? Peraton is looking for a Travel Management Specialist that supports Transition-In throughout the transition period, then stays with the program. You will support the development of implementing travel processes consistent with managing a global COCOM program. Responsible for coordinating the organization's travel needs and ensures compliance with applicable FAR, FTR, JTR and DSSR regulations. Prepares Trip Reports and keeps a summary of all long-distance travel. Coordinates Long distance travel with FEDSIM COR, TPOC, and government TDL sponsor using Travel Authorization Requests (TAR) and verifies funding availability and the active period of performance for all travel arrangements. Ensures travel arrangements and claims meet both Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) and the FEDSIM travel policy. Manages and prepares CONUS/ OCONUS travel arrangements and expense claims to include scheduling hotel and flight accommodations and procures necessary documentation such as passports, visas, or other clearances. Ensures travel requests and expense reports are properly approved, accurately entered and paid in a timely manner. Investigates and resolves issues associated with processing of travel requests and expense reports as well as travel emergencies. Qualifications Basic Quals: Collateral Secret
Minimum 10 years of experience
Minimum of a Master's Degree from an accredited college or university
Target Salary Range $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
