QE Concrete is looking for a Sales Representative to join our team. QE Concrete's Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling concrete products to General Contractors, Subcontractors, and individuals. The Sales Representative will establish and maintain relationships with customers and develop opportunities through industry networks.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Generate sales leads and build a strong client base.
  • Participate in networking and industry groups to develop relationships and promote the QE Concrete brand.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers to promote QE Concrete products.
  • Understand customer needs and provide expert advice for specific projects.
  • Develop effective sales strategies and meet sales targets.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and market developments.
  • Prepare accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and customer feedback for management review.
  • Coordinate with the operations and logistics team to ensure timely delivery and quality of material.
  • Work with the customer service team to promptly resolve issues and answer questions for customers.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, construction management, communications, or related field preferred.
  • Five years of relevant sales experience required including two years of experience in the concrete industry required.
  • ACI (American Concrete Institute) Certification and FDOT (Florida Department of Transportation) training preferred.
  • Experience with reporting sales metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) required.
  • Contract negotiating experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and conduct customer meetings.
  • This position requires frequent travel within the state of Florida.
  • Valid Class E Florida driver license with acceptable driving record required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 required including ability to perform financial calculations in Microsoft Excel.


Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to travel.
