HX5 is actively searching for a Senior Systems Engineer, to support the Advanced Programs team at Eglin AFB, Florida. Basic Duties: Provide resources with the knowledge and experience to efficiently and effectively deliver systems engineering capability in support of the acquisition process. Provide knowledge and experience to support the following activities for armament systems; material solution analysis, technology, engineering, and manufacturing development, production and deployment, and operation and support. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide resources with the knowledge and experience to efficiently and effectively deliver systems engineering capability in support of the acquisition process. Provide knowledge and experience to support the following activities for armament systems; material solution analysis, technology, engineering, and manufacturing development, production and deployment, and operation and support. Plan and execute technical reviews and assessments (e.g., System Requirements Review, Technology Readiness Assessment) and documentation development (e.g., Systems Engineering Plan, Risk Management Plan). Analyze and/or evaluate results of major engineering weapon systems. Education and Experience: Engineering degree from ABET accredited college. MS degree and fifteen (15) years of professional work experience; OR a Ph.D. and five (5) years of professional work experience Preferences: Prior experience working with Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process inclusive of System Requirements Review, Preliminary Design Review, or Critical Design Review Prior experience with requirements management tools (e.g., Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours. Other Position Requirements: Proof of U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for this position. Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance by date of hire, with an investigation date within the past (6) six years.
