Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Manager of Financial Accounting, the employee performs financial, operational and technical analysis. This position provides support to enterprise management by ensuring business strategies and financial goals are achieved. The employee assists in assessing and communicating final financials and operating results to each department. The position supports the annual operating budgeting process, capital budgeting process and purchasing process. The employee participates in property financial forecasting, prepares and distributes Executive Summaries and ad hoc reports, and provides support for property labor analysis. In addition, the employee assists with monthly accounting, coordinates weekly payroll information and provides technical support as needed to departments for company systems and data.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in the area of finance, business or accounting.
Experience of at least two to four (2-4) years with significant exposure in financial analysis in casino and/or hotel industry.
Advanced degree and/or professional certification is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
Must possess ability to read, analyze and interpret common technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
Must be able to communicate effectively wit team members.
Must possess ability to write clearly and concisely and effectively present information to top management.
Must possess ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages and to create and interpret charts and graphs.
Must possess ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
