Responsibilities:
The incumbent in this position is responsible for coaching, developing and leading the warehouse and receiving staff. This role provides supervision, training, coaching, development and motivation of the team members and complies with all safety, quality, quantity and property standards.
Essential Duties:
Hires, trains, motivates, evaluates, and manages staff in order to ensure that team members receive adequate guidance and resources to accomplish established department objectives for the Compliance department.
Provides coaching and feedback to team members. Identifies performance opportunities and creates specific action plans to improve efficiencies.
Communicates effectively to team members and leads through changes in company policies and initiatives.
Conducts team/department meetings to ensure continual education and awareness on department issues.
Ensures warehouse housekeeping, safety, security, organization and sanitation are at acceptable daily levels.
Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.
Ensures policies, rules & regulations and procedures are followed.
Organizes work for smooth operations.
Supervises loading & unloading of trucks and verifies paperwork is correctly signed and documented. This may include receiving of VLTs at the loading dock, however, there will be no access to the interior of the VLT.
Verify correct identification and warehousing of products.
Maintain and forecast proper inventory levels.
Monitors automated inventory system, maintaining integrity of inventory.
Ensure execution of random checking in/out audits.
Assist Inventory Control with monthly inventories.
Execution/ownership of product variance controls/reduction plans.
Other duties as assigned.
Attend and participate in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned
Perform work regularly and predictably
Qualifications:
This knowledge and these abilities are typically acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent with 3 to 5 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have 2 years of work experience in a warehouse environment with an overall knowledge of warehousing, storage & supply principles and processes. Prior experience in a supervisory position required.

The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
