Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Director - Marketing, the Advertising Manager is responsible for the implementation of all print marketing initiatives and activities, including planning, coordination, execution, and tracking, reporting, analytics. This position manages a detailed production schedule with emphasis on direct mail, radio and other print communications across all stages of production.

Essential Job Functions:

Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.

Manage marketing campaigns from concept through execution. Oversee the creation of print advertising vehicles including postcards, brochures, event materials, self-mailers, high end invitations, posters, backlites and large medium signage. This position is responsible for all facets of advertising planning including: scheduling, creative executive with the agency, print production and execution. Responsible for the development and maintenance of budgets, project tracking and follow up that a project has been properly uploaded to the agency, vendor or mail house for in home delivery.

Work proactively with creative team and vendors to ensure continuous improvement and optimal production solutions for new and existing materials and concepts.

Meets with both the creative agency and production agency to ensure consistency across all media forms.

Possesses a working knowledge of design and printing technologies.

Collaborates with creative team regarding project specifications (i.e. colors, dimensions, etc.)

Develop specifications for new components in support of departmental budgets.

Alerts creative and departmental teams if deadlines cannot be meet.

Obtains detailed estimates from a variety of vendors; three per project with the help of Purchasing

Develop strong relationships with internal and external teams to drive collaboration of marketing programs. Effectively and proactively communicates with departments and vendors.

Maintains up-to-date contact information for all vendors.

Maintains and develops strong vendor relationships.

Calculates all in-house, external printing charges.

Manages project deadline dates to ensure they are met.

Issues Purchase Orders for all Advertising (agency fees, print, radio, digital, etc.) and printing-related expenses in conjunction with finance department.

Attend vendor press checks (as necessary) and ensures high quality of materials.

Obtains sequential sign-offs on all proofs moving in and out of the department.

Delivers creative materials.

Reviews vendor invoices, including shipping receipts, and resolves billing discrepancies.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Advertising, Marketing or related field preferred. Minimum of five (5) years Marketing/Advertising experience, specializing in print production preferably in an agency environment or another casino business or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Additional Requirements:

Experience with print production and proof approval required.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to influence and persuade other with diplomacy and tact; work with numerous people of differing levels, flexible.

Knowledge of the print production process and agency workflow

Knowledge of the postal regulations, knowledge of postal logistics and consolidation methods a plus

Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines, in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong attention to detail and operational workflow dynamics to effectively track and analyze the status within the procurement process

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.

Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
