We design, develop and manufacture advanced combat, missile, rocket, manned and unmanned systems for military customers in the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, NASA and dozens of foreign allies. As a Program Communications Associate, you will be responsible for supporting strategic integrated communications plans for the Air Dominance and Strike Weapons (ADSW) line of business, as well as other special projects within the business. You will oversee an internal editorial calendar, support key program communications, collaborate with stakeholders across the Communications team, and support special projects and events as needed. You will be responsible for supporting integrated communication plans for significant program milestones and events; supporting leader engagements through the development of memos, talking points and internal and external comms; developing social media content; monitoring program news. Reporting to the ADSW communications manager, you will work closely with business and USG leaders to understand company and end-user warfighter objectives to craft communications strategies to help achieve those goals. This hybrid position is based in Orlando, Florida, with potential for travel, as needed. What You Will Be Doing Serves as a content creator for key programs and efforts; oversees an internal editorial calendar Develops program communications and employee communications Develops integrated communication plans for significant program milestones and tracks resulting news coverage Supports executive engagement through the development of memos, talking points, etc. Develops social media content Supports media engagement and reporting activities Occasional travel required Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combined education/experience Experience in communications disciplines Experience planning and executing comprehensive communications plans and campaigns Experience with digital and social media trends and practices
Desired Skills: Two or more years of related experience Strong writing, editing and organizational skills Ability to develop strong partnerships with business leaders Ability to handle communications deadlines and challenges involving multiple stakeholders, functions and customers

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
