JOB INFORMATION:
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Director of Transfill and Repair to join our team. In this position, you will direct the District Transfill Managers in their assigned areas of responsibility to meet company growth goals and targets, standardize and improve transfill/repair operations to maximize efficiency and lower capital expenditures. Responsible for routing fleet between transfill and Rotech locations to minimize costs and provide the most effective routing solutions to ensure high equipment utilization; will minimize costs through the effective control of expenses, leadership expertise, and mentoring skills to increase team performance; work on a national level with suppliers to meet goals and objectives.

Create a culture that reinforces FDA/DOT compliance
Deliver key controllable expenses within budget targets to maximize productivity and profitability
Develop and manage professional development plans for all direct reports
Evaluate routing across the country to ensure the most cost effective model for cylinder and concentrator distribution to Rotech Locations
Find, manage, and maintain national supplier relationships with various vendors to procure used concentrators, gaseous oxygen, hydrostatic testing and any other product needed to fulfill job requirements
Lead and mentor District Transfill Managers on consistency, accountability, and performance
Maintain appropriate documentation regarding personnel performance
Maintain consistent plans to ensure appropriate staffing is supported
Manage corporate policies and procedures to ensure effective expense, inventory and compliance management strategies are developed and executed
Model effective leadership skills to gain commitment to transfill/repair/compliance goals and obtain target results
Monitor and manage all oxygen related invoices from suppliers
Monitor, manage, and maintain accountability for performance of transfill/repair operations/compliance by developing strategies to achieve efficiency, service, and expense and inventory control goals
Perform frequent and regular location visits to standardize and monitor performance
Reinforce and deliver consistent transfill/repair/compliance standards according to company guidelines
Review use of Transfill and Repair Locations to assess overall effectiveness of Rotech's distribution strategy
Review, research and approve oxygen tank orders for all locations
Performs other duties as assigned
Travel
Travel extensively via airplane and/or vehicle
Frequent overnight travel required
Due to extensive travel, major credit card is required for car rental, lodging and other related travel expenses, to be reimbursed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Employment is contingent on
Background investigation (company-wide)
Drug screen (when applicable for the position)
Valid driver's license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position)
Required Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED equivalent, required
CDL with Hazmat Endorcement is Required or must be aquired with in 6 months of hire/promotion.
Preferred Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in business or related field plus a minimum of seven years' experience in DME or healthcare industry; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Seven years of related work experience, preferred
Management experience, preferred
