Logistics and Sustainment Model & SIM Analyst Location: Orlando, FL (PEO STRI) Security Clearance: TS-SCI (Required) Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in logistics, sustainment, or modeling and simulation Work Schedule: Hybrid, In office 2 days a week Job Summary: PEO STRI is seeking a highly capable Logistics and Sustainment Model & SIM Analyst to support the development, implementation, and management of modeling and simulation (M&S) tools for logistics and sustainment operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics systems, sustainment modeling, and analytical processes, and will possess strong problem-solving skills to ensure the effectiveness of simulation solutions. Key Responsibilities: Modeling and Simulation (M&S): Develop and manage models and simulations that support logistics and sustainment operations for military training and operational scenarios. Data Analysis: Conduct detailed data analysis to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of logistics operations within the models and simulations. System Integration: Work closely with system developers, engineers, and logistics personnel to ensure that sustainment models are accurately integrated into the broader simulation environment. Sustainment Planning: Support logistics and sustainment planning through modeling analysis to optimize resource allocation, equipment maintenance, and supply chain processes. Scenario Development: Design and implement training and operational scenarios within the simulation models, ensuring they meet mission objectives and reflect real-world logistics challenges. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and documentation on simulation outcomes, logistics strategies, and sustainment performance for both internal and external stakeholders. Collaboration: Interface with logistics experts, military personnel, and M&S professionals to align models with operational requirements and ensure that simulations accurately reflect logistical needs and constraints. Required Qualifications: Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in logistics, sustainment, or modeling and simulation, AND A Bachelor's degree in logistics, engineering, computer science, or a related field. Security Clearance: Active TS-SCI clearance (mandatory). Technical Skills: Strong understanding of logistics systems, sustainment planning, and M&S tools. Analytical Skills: Experience in analyzing complex logistics data and using it to drive sustainment model improvements and optimizations. Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing detailed reports and presenting findings. Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, including military and civilian personnel. Proficiency in project management and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with military logistics and sustainment processes. Familiarity with simulation software and tools such as JLOG/PE or other logistics modeling tools. Experience with defense-related or DoD modeling and simulation requirements. Strong problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to systems analysis and integration.
