Pharmacy Pricing Analyst - REMOTE Role and Responsibilities

The Liviniti Pharmacy Pricing Analyst is responsible for analytical support of the Network and Trade Relations for all the departments' goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs). In addition to the analytical/administrative support, the Pharmacy Pricing Analyst will assist in the direction and coordination of activities that support the customer pricing, profitability analysis, and contract renewal opportunities of Liviniti. The Pharmacy Pricing Analyst will also:

  • Set pricing for all new business opportunities to optimize savings opportunities for our clients and margins for Liviniti.
  • Optimize pricing strategy for each of our channel partners.
  • Analyze financial viability of new product concepts, including pro forma analysis of client adoption rates and return on investment projections.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical skills, by identifying, researching and resolving pricing issues and performing ad hoc performance analysis as required.
  • Lead analytics for cost of goods improvement initiatives with our pharmacy network and pharmaceutical manufacturer relationships.
  • Provide analysis and support for continuous improvement projects.
  • Develops requirement specifications according to standard templates, using non-technical language related to resolutions of operational issues.
  • Monitor and report financial performance of network partners.
  • Collaborates with internal stake holders to identify and mitigate possible operational issues with larger enhancement initiatives.
  • Abide by all obligations under HIPAA related to Protected Health Information (PHI).
  • If a HIPAA violation is discovered, whether individually or by another, you must report the violation to the Compliance Officer and/or Human Resources.
  • Attend, complete, and demonstrate competency in all required HIPAA Training offered by the company.

Required Skills and Competencies
  • Requires income statement and ad hoc financial experience.
  • Must possess excellent writing skills.
  • Requires experience and proven analytical skills in Excel Spreadsheets.
  • Prefer experience in healthcare, PBM, workers' compensation, and/or insurance industry.

Supervisory Responsibility

There is no supervisory responsibility with this position.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
  • Full-time/Salaried/Exempt.
  • Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the "core" work hours of 8:00AM to 5:00PM CT. We cover clients from West to East Coast, work times must be adjusted to cover meetings in all time zones. Ability to work extended hours, weekends and holidays pursuant with industry demands.

Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree plus one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
