In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers.

In this role, you will be supporting the successful completion of lab developmental test events, platform integration laboratory testing events, and the associated analysis of test data . The position is located in Tucson Arizona.

What You Will Do

  • Perform integration, verification, and testing to ensure the system under test performs according to design, specs and/or requirements.
  • Perform data collection activities, including review and assessment of data elements, and provide detailed reports of results.
  • Trace and/or correct faults in mechanical or electronic systems.
  • Create/modify documentation in support of reviews associated with formal testing, which include Test Readiness Review (TRR), Consent to Ship (CTS), and Test Data Review (TDR) packages.
  • Support field testing, which includes occasional travel.
  • Monitor / manage upcoming tasks; assign resources.
  • Collaborate actively with CAM, IPT, TA, CE, attend weekly meetings to provide status, needs.
  • Champion teammates, foster respect, and communication, and serve as mentor to newest team members.

Qualifications you must have

Typically requires Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience,

Relevant experience includes a minimum of 3 of the following:

  • Systems Integration experience
  • Experience with telemetry hardware and software, as well as telemetry data analysis tools
  • Experience with troubleshooting and failure root cause definition.
  • Knowledge of Lab / test equipment
  • Experience with Verification and Validation methods.
  • Experience creating checkout procedures, Test Plans, Test procedures and Test Reports
  • Experience creating and submitting technical data packages for review and approval.
  • Experience with Flight testing/operations in fighter/bomber aircraft.
  • Experience with Flightline Operations and munitions handling around fighter/bomber aircraft.

Active and transferrable US Government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. US Citizenship is required as only US Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience leading system integration, verification, or validation efforts for a DoD program.
  • Experience with integration of weapons systems on military platforms, such as aircraft, naval, or ground vehicle platforms.
  • cPDM and data package review and approval processes
  • CAMEO experience
  • Familiarity with failure reporting, analysis, corrective action and/or fault tree analysis
  • Technical leadership with capture/pursuit experience, including contribution or authoring of white papers, RFI responses, proposal of technical volumes, or related experience.
  • Experience managing and presenting technical data to Stakeholders and Customer community, in design reviews and technical interchange meetings.
  • Use of Telemetry station and software

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
