Job Type Full-time Description What You'll Do: As the Senior Systems Engineer, you will apply your knowledge of DoD/Navy acquisition, development, fielding, and life-cycle support of simulations, simulators, and training systems, to provide engineering support to our government customer in Orlando, FL. Responsibilities will include: Performing market surveys, risk analysis, trade-off studies, cost estimates and Reliability, Availability, Maintainability (RAM) analysis.
Providing technical advice on the conceptual design of simulations, simulators, and training systems required to support complex military equipment or systems.
Applying Department of Defense (DoD) materiel acquisition processes to support the acquisition of simulations, simulators, and training systems.
Coordinating efforts of industry and multiple DoD commands in fielding products that meet the needs of all customers.
Staying abreast of the multiple factors affecting the program(s) and the organizations served, and the related customers, functions, resources, and users. Requirements Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or related technical field of study, required
10 years of experience in systems engineering associated with modeling and simulation within the training and training systems domains, required
5 years of acquisition experience, with at least 3 of those years in direct support of a DoD program, desired
Must be able to plan and execute complex, multi-faceted projects within established financial and time constraints.
Demonstrated knowledge of current modeling and simulation principles, techniques, processes, regulations, and policies.Who You Are: You are able to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers

Security Clearance Requirements: This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret clearance. Selected candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Salary Range: The estimated salary range for this position will be $150,000 - $160,000 annually, based on an individual's level of experience and skill set.
