Job description

Software Resources has an immediate, long term contract job opportunity for a Software Engineer with a major corporation in Orlando, FL. On-site 4 days per week.

Must Haves:

Must have a Degree in Technology.

Must have 6+ years SharePoint Premium or SharePoint Online Architecture/Engineering experience (inclusive of at least 3 years of Architecture experience) in highly complex enterprise environments.

Responsibilities of the Role:

The Software Engineer is a key role within the organization, responsible for translating requirements and user stories into functional software that delivers value to the business. They help make the impossible become possible through the design, development, testing, and implementation of complex software for use across The Company. We're looking for a highly experienced SharePoint Architect/Engineer with a deep understanding of both SharePoint Premium and SharePoint Online to ensure that that we are building the "best-in-class" products and continuously maintaining and enhancing existing products to improve our competitive advantage and technical excellence.

Responsibilities:

Develop or lead the development of specifications for software development projects

Review or write code, leads programming and testing and debugging of major software development projects

Conceive and set the technical architectural direction for software development project

Design the component tasks of software development projects, developing specifications for each

Manage the full lifecycle of projects

Manage resource plans and project budgets, providing monthly forecasts

Serve as an escalation point for difficult problems and complex inquiries

Act as a peer group leader to and help train staff on Software Engineering standards and processes

Basic Qualifications:

Skills & Experience

6+ years SharePoint Premium or SharePoint Online Architecture/Engineering experience (inclusive of at least 3 years of Architecture experience) in highly complex enterprise environments

Must possess proven experience defining and documenting standards and processes for creating and maintaining SharePoint Online sites

Must possess very strong SharePoint Online development experience inclusive of custom web parts, workflows and other components to extend SharePoint Online functionality

Must possess very strong SharePoint Online administration skills including Setup and Configuration, User Management and Permissions, deploying solutions and maintaining Security best practices

Must possess strong experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 integration

Must possess proven experience conducting code + process + user story reviews

Must possess very strong experience working in Agile environments

Required Education:

BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
