Your Mission: As a System Engineer, you will excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, performing IT System Engineering, Installation, Administration, and Security across multiple platforms, including Classified and Unclassified networks, AWS/Azure cloud environments, Red Hat Linux, eSXi, VMware Horizon, Windows Server, and Windows/Linux desktops. Here's what you'll be doing:
• Ensuring IT system management, control, and updates in alignment with Lockheed Martin and Department of Defense policies, procedures, and requirements
• Systems engineering and implementation, routine updates, major upgrades, ongoing maintenance, and support for hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI), virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), Storage Area Networks (SAN), data protection appliances, and other peripherals, including vulnerability scanning/patching and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance
• Executing server initiatives, managing server asset inventory, supporting and troubleshooting all server infrastructure-related hardware, software, and related tasks, adhering to requirements
• Leveraging troubleshooting skills to provide timely and effective solutions to problems, and developing technical solutions to complex problems requiring consistent use of ingenuity and creativity
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and enhance security Key aspects of this position:
• On-site work, including some off-shift hours, weekends, and occasional travel - based in Orlando, FL
• Working a 4x10 schedule (Mon-Thurs) and supporting a 24 X 7 weekly on-call rotation schedule

• Secret Clearance
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II or III certification (i.e. Security+, CASP, CISSP) within 90-days of start date.
• Experience with standard system administration tasks
• Extensive experience working within multiple Windows and Linux OS
• Experience with Active Directory Domains, DNS, LDAP configuration and maintenance
• Experience with patching Windows and Linux systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills
Desired Skills:
• Understanding and or experience working Information Assurance (IA) hardening and compliance, i.e. STIG & DSS compliance, documentation, etc.
• Understanding of virtualization infrastructure such as VMWare, KVM, Hyper-V, etc.
• Understanding of NAS/SAN/PFS storage systems and related networking
• Basic understanding of routing/switching networking concepts
• Scripting ability to support system administration (Ansible, Python, BASH, Perl, Batch, VBScript, PowerShell, etc.)
• Experience working with environment management solutions (SPLUNK, McAfee EPO, vSphere, Azure etc.)
• Experience working with Cloud Environment Azure / AWS
• Understanding and or experience working with SQL or other databases.
• Understanding and or experience working with Exchange, SharePoint, Skype
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
