Job description

GPAC, in collaboration with a top-tier company specializing in municipal infrastructure construction, is currently seeking a highly motivated and Experienced Project Manager to oversee wet utilities projects. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing projects related to underground utilities, lift stations, storm drainage, gravity sewer, large-diameter pressure pipe, and mechanical piping. Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate and manage wet utilities projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgetary constraints, and quality standards.
  • Oversee all aspects of project planning, including scope definition, resource allocation, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless project execution and timely resolution of any issues or challenges.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor project milestones, address concerns, and maintain effective communication channels.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance measures to ensure a safe working environment for all project stakeholders.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Building Construction from a four-year college or university.
  • Alternatively, a minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in wet utilities construction, with expertise in underground utilities, lift stations, storm drainage, gravity sewer, large diameter pressure pipe, and mechanical piping.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage project teams and foster collaborative working relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
