Job Title: Sr. Associate, Industrial Security Job Code: 15745 Job Location: Palm Bay, FL Job Description: This position is responsible for supporting and enacting all L3Harris corporate policies including the protection of L3Harris' intellectual property. This is a multi-faceted role for which the ideal candidate will possess a mid-level of comprehensive knowledge in the discipline of Industrial Security (ACPSO/ACSSO). The experienced ACPSO/ACSSO will be responsible for assisting the Industrial Security Team in developing, strategizing, and reviewing internal security program policies and procedures in accordance with DoD security policies to include NISPOM, Intelligence Community Directives (ICD), JSIG, and DoDM 5205.07v1-4.This position will be supporting all security related functions for the Strategic Missions Division and Tactical Missions Division mainly located in Palm Bay, FL. As an Industrial Security Specialist for one or more large programs, responsibilities include support of all Industrial Security related duties to include: facility security functions including SCIF operations, personnel security, program support, physical security, information security, document control, badging and access control. This position implements all requisite national security directives with specific emphasis on NISPOM, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and JAFAN requirements as applicable. This position exhibits the dedication and expectation of security operational excellence required in a security professional while working and making collaboratively with a team of industrial security professionals. The person selected will work as a team player, exhibit flexibility in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include interacting with internal and external customers or Government security officials in performance of security duties. The ideal candidate will not only be experienced in Industrial Security within SCI and/or SAP environments but will also have unquestionable work ethic to include placing pride and ownership on what they do for all customers. In addition, the ideal candidate will work closely with the Industrial Security Manager to gather and execute strategies in support of both business and customers. Essential Functions: Serve amongst a team supporting stakeholders and customers
Apply experience in the form of an industrial security specialist or ACPSO/ACSSO Be ready to hit the ground running with new tasks and use professional judgement to structure path to task success
Integrate with a team of Industrial Security professionals assisting with the overall success of the Security program
Collaborate with the Industrial Security team to assist in the necessary changes to practices, processes and approaches
Assist in maintaining continuity books and procedures for multiple security functions
Help the Industrial Security Team in implementing changes/improvements in processes, systems, or products
Collaborate with the Industrial Security Team for the development of new products/processe improvement and necessary security administration documentation Assist in supporting complex project initiatives of substantial importance communicate directly with manager as needed.
Assists in monthly program review charts while routinely assist with generating and presenting briefing material
Assist in Performing security pre-screening for potential employees, subcontractors, and consultants
Assist in Initiate, maintain and terminate personnel security clearances with the applicable team member in DISS to include SF86 and eQIP processing
Assist the personnel security team as needed with personnel security paperwork checking for accuracy, completion, and submission
Assist in creating and presenting various security related briefings and documentation as needed with security related employee briefings to include Assist the team as a facilities liaison for restricted areas and issue and track access badges for multiple locations
Assist with the Security Education Training and Awareness (SETA) program
Assist in Analyzing and investigating security incidents and violations; prepare internal and external customer reports
Assist in Preparing and maintain Fixed Facility Checklists (FFCs) in accordance with customer guidelines
Assist with maintenance of document control, personnel records, briefings, contracts, and other such security assets within SIMS to enforce and maintain accountability
Assist with incoming and outgoing classified material, destruction and other such accountable items such as keys and equipment
Occasionally assist with classified courier duties - requiring SCI clearances
Assist with preparing and participating in DCSA and Customer Security Assessments
Experience with and understanding of DD-254 security requirements and clauses
May assist with physical security duties include, but are not limited to, changing combinations, access control systems, alarm accesses, secure area modifications and buildouts
Will adhere to L3Harris corporate policies on protecting intellectual property, PII protection, Insider Threat, and other such policies
Must be willing to travel to support customer needs Qualifications: Must possess an active Top-Secret clearance with current in-scope eligibility and SSBI date
Must have an in-scope (within 2-3 years) CI Poly and be willing to take and pass an Extended Scope poly
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience in Industrial Security. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
CDSE FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities certification
Preferred CSSO certification or CSSO experience Preferred Additional Skills: An in-scope Extended Scope Poly

Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC)
Industrial Security Professional (ISP) certification
Requires comprehensive level knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have in-depth knowledge of project management. In-depth working knowledge of NISPOM security requirements and various DCSA Information Systems (NISS and DISS at minimum)
Knowledgeable of ITP planning, to include CI incident response strategy implementation Experience serving on in Insider Threat Working Group and working closely with SMO and other ITP stakeholders to develop and maintain Insider Threat compliance at the site level
Experience with implementing and enforcing complete central management in access control systems such as SIMS
Experience with leading or managing Security Vulnerability Assessments resulting in a commendable or superior rating category
Experience with developing security response statements for security-related RFP sections
Proficient experience with Microsoft Office Suite
