For more information about DAWSON, please visit . $75,000 to $85,000 SUMMARY: An Emergency Management Support Analyst supports the DAF Emergency Management, CBRN defense, and Emergency Management career field publications program management requirements. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop, technically edit, coordinate, and revise publications, concepts of operations, concepts of employment, and related products in support to the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) Emergency Management Division (CXR) as part of a multidiscipline team. Essential Job Functions Formulate, edit, update, refine, and coordinate DOD, DAF, joint service, federal, NATO, and international policies, plans, and standards; developing and evaluating operationally focused tactics, techniques, and procedures. Develop information within service-related and joint service war, concept, and strategic plans. Provide representation at and developing presentations in support of publication related meetings and workshops. Manage and maintain the status of plans and publications using automated systems. Aid in creating, revising, and maintaining self-assessment checklists within the Management Internal Control Toolset. Coordinate with the United States Army Nuclear and Chemical Agency, NATO head of delegation to obtain NATO working group agendas. Gather NATO and Air Force Interoperability Council (AFIC) working group read ahead and research material required for the attending AFCEC/CXR representatives. Minimum Qualifications 6 years or more CBRN defense, disaster preparedness, emergency management related field experience or 10 years or more field experience required. SECRET or interim clearance or must meet eligibility for a U.S. Government security investigation and meet eligibility requirements for secret clearance. Desired Qualifications CCAF Degree in Emergency Management or Disaster Preparedness (or equivalent) Certification in one of the three levels of the Air Force Certified Emergency Manager Program Bachelor's degree in English, communications, or disaster/emergency management DAWSON is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action/VEVRAA federal contractor.
