Job description

General Qualifications: Must hold an active Secret Clearance
Must possess a DoD 8570 IAT-II or higher certification
Must have a minimum of 4 years of field experience
Much have an Associates degree or higher
DoD and/or Air Force experience preferred
High level of integrity and accountability
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills Education: • Required: Associates Degree in a related field Certification(s): • DoD 8570 IAT-II (Sec+, CySA+, CCNA-Security, GSEC, CND, SSCP) Key Deliverables: • Oversee and manage accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment, ensuring they align with established standards, rules, and needs.
• Implement server and special mission system security fixes, including operating system patches and antivirus software updates.
• Process and review C4 systems requirement documentation, telecommunication service requests, status of acquisition messages, and telecommunication service orders.
• Conduct user accounts management and standardize system settings utilizing automated deployment tools. Oversee the management of physical, virtual, and cloud-based server/client hardware.
• Guarantee the continued operability of systems through ongoing optimization and troubleshooting support.
• Enforce computer security policies to ensure the protection of systems and sensitive information.
• Categorize, diagnose, and rectify system issues. Perform fault recovery tasks, verifying the restoration of services with customers.
• Address and document issues raised from lower support tiers, coordinating resolutions as necessary.
• Handle scheduled and authorized outages, creating outage reports for unscheduled interruptions.
• Employ enterprise patching tools to execute security updates and patches, encompassing Information Assurance Vulnerability Assessments, C4 Notice to Airman, Time Compliance Network Orders, Time Compliance Technical Order, OS patches, and antivirus software updates.
• Carry out proactive security measures to identify, prevent, and recover from potential system and network security breaches.
• Execute system sanitation protocols for classified message incidents and file discrepancies.
• Evaluate system risks and vulnerabilities, implementing corrective actions to mitigate or eliminate potential threats.
• Assess and implement C4 systems requirements. Engage in strategic and budgetary planning for systems hardware and software.
• Monitor the operations of assigned applications and storage devices to gauge system performance and pinpoint hardware or software failures.
• Maintain accurate records reflecting machine performance and production metrics.
• Install operating system software, patches, and upgrades, specifically for SIPR and Virtual Desktop environments.
• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve system hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
